Before you hit render

Do I have to use the MCP server?

No. Use the studio yourself or connect an assistant through MCP. Both use the same cloud video allowance when rendering on our servers.

Which MCP clients work?

Connect a compatible MCP client through our hosted HTTP endpoint, including clients that support OAuth or API keys.

How are cloud minutes counted?

Each video uses its final duration rounded up to the next minute: a 2 min 55 sec video uses 3 minutes. PNG exports and downloads of an existing file do not use minutes. Failed or canceled renders return their minutes.

Do unused minutes carry over?

Annual includes 80 minutes each month, renewed on your subscription's monthly anniversary. Included minutes do not carry over. Purchased 15-minute packs do not expire. An active Annual plan is required to buy packs.

What does self-hosted lifetime include?

A perpetual license to run CleanChat and its MCP on your own server, with one year of software updates. You can keep using your licensed version afterward. Contact us before purchasing to agree on delivery and installation. Hosting and CleanChat Cloud minutes are not included.

Is CleanChat affiliated with Apple or Meta?

No. CleanChat is an independent simulator, and the scenes you create are your own creative material.
